Biographie
I am a Surgeon and Intensive Care Specialist and currently serve as Director of the ICU at KAT General Hospital a Trauma Center in Athens Greece. My academic background includes a BSc in Biology, an MD, a PhD in Medicine, and postgraduate training (MSc) in Clinical Nutrition and Health Leadership. With over 30 years of clinical and academic experience, I have authored numerous publications in the field of critical care, with a focus on sepsis, infections, metabolic monitoring, and nutrition. I currently serve as President of the Hellenic Society of Intensive Care Medicine and Treasurer of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM), actively contributing to the advancement of Intensive Care across Europe.
